Knitwear Through an Australian Winter

Cotton knit earns its place differently depending on where you are. Through a Melbourne or Sydney winter it works hardest as a mid-layer, a knit bodysuit under a chunky jumper for the morning, with the jumper coming off once you're indoors. For most Australian winter days, a cotton knit romper or bodysuit with a chunky knit jumper over the top is plenty. On genuinely cold mornings, add a thin cotton layer underneath rather than a second knit on top, so you're not adding bulk around the arms.
